Melting Pot Publications Ltd is seeking financial sponsorship to launch a public micro-enterprise educational manual, which will help Kenyans create employment, reduce poverty, achieve economic empowerment and fight HIV/AIDS at the workplace.

The prime mission of The Guide To Small Business Opportunities in Kenya is to give help on how to start a specific business from a database of 50 businesses in the service sector every year. Each business can be located anywhere in Kenya, thereby ensuring diversification in types of businesses started.

The 200-page publication to be printed by Melting Pot Publications Ltd, contains vital market information compiled from business owners, suppliers, consultants and other experts - which give the most recent facts needed to start and run each specific business. No government or private institution or NGO has a comparable information database.

The publisher, a pioneer in simplified communications, projects that The Guide To Small Business Opportunities will assist 120,000 Kenyans to start their own small-scale business which will hire at least two employees, thereby creating more than 240,000 new jobs each year for unemployed Kenyans.
